Cameroon Baptist Convention Health Services Non-Communicable Disease Prevention and Control Program
Young Advocates for Prevention
The Young Advocates for Prevention (YAP) Program will create an opportunity for young people to be part of NCD prevention and control efforts in Cameroon by selecting and building the capacity of 60 youths on NCD awareness and advocacy.
Funds from this project will be used to develop a comprehensive toolkit for training, to run the training and to carry out advocacy activities on tobacco and alcohol risk factors in the Bamenda Municipality in Cameroon.
We will also create a national youth network to promote and sustain the meaningful involvement of young people in NCD action and to help achieve NCD related sustainable development targets.
