AstraZeneca’s Young Health Programme (YHP) is a global disease prevention initiative that aims to prevent the most common non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as cancer, diabetes, heart disease and respiratory disease, by activating young people to make informed choices to manage their health and supporting the development of protective environments. In partnership with 60+ not-for-profit organisations, the YHP has been running for 15 years and focuses on young people aged 10 to 24, living in underserved communities around the world.

These results demonstrate that a long-term commitment to youth health and addressing NCD risk behaviours can result in positive health outcomes for young people.
