Young Health Programme Papua New Guinea

The Young Health Programme partnership with UNICEF aims to catalyse a global advocacy movement led by young people for the promotion of healthier lifestyles. The focus is on raising awareness of key issues, empowering young people to advocate, and taking policy action to create meaningful and lasting change.

The Young Health Programme with UNICEF launched in Papua New Guinea in 2022. A situation analysis and consultation with key stakeholders is being conducted to identify and mobilize local priorities, assets, resources, and capacity for promoting healthier lifestyles and meeting the most pressing health concerns of adolescents in PNG.
