Robust governance is crucial to ensuring that we can deliver on our sustainability priorities, create long-term value for stakeholders and operate responsibly and ethically.

Identifying our material sustainability topics

We regularly review our double materiality assessment, to ensure we focusing on the sustainability‑related impacts, risks and opportunities. This is outlined in our Annual Report.

Learn more about our sustainability-related risks and opportunities, and impacts on people and the environment, as identified in our double materiality assessment.

Sustainability governance

Our sustainability strategy, developed by the Senior Executive Team (SET), is executed under the oversight of the Board Sustainability Committee. The Board Audit Committee ensures the integrity of sustainability reporting and assurance.

The Sustainability Strategy Steering Committee drives strategic advancements, while the Sustainability Reporting Steering Committee ensures alignment with reporting regulations and internal standards. Both committees regularly report progress to the Board’s Audit and Sustainability Committees and update the SET on developments.

Benchmarking and assurance

We contribute to key global environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance evaluations, recognising the value of independent third-party assessment and insights. Our performance is also assessed independently based on the information and data we make publicly available.
