During the past 17 years at AstraZeneca I’ve been lucky enough to work across multiple senior commercial roles in Singapore, Shanghai, Seoul before moving back to Brussels to lead our Eastern Europe Region. When Pascal came on board as our CEO I moved into Global roles, initially leading our largest Global Cardiovascular Franchise and then our Global Respiratory & Immunology Franchise. Most recently, I have returned to the commercial organisation as the President of AstraZeneca UK.

I’m passionate about our external mission to push the boundaries of science and make a difference to the lives of millions of patients. We are fortunate to work in a dynamic environment, full of trailblazing people who are committed to contributing to the communities we serve.  I am incredibly proud to be leading our UK business, which continues to dedicate its resources to supporting patients; doing everything we can to help improve clinical practice; caring for our environment and our people.  Our ambition is to be the leading bio-pharmaceutical company in the UK and we have the drive and the people to deliver on our commitment to the life-sciences industry.

I’m also passionate about what leaders can do – confronting reality, solving problems, setting strategy and driving execution, attracting talent, building capability and unlocking the potential in people and teams. It’s a privilege to be able to dedicate myself to what I love to do, working with great people every day.

Before AstraZeneca I worked as a British Army officer, Management Consultant and as a Partner in an early-stage technology VC Fund.

A few years ago, I moved back to Cambridge with my family. After seven international moves, I am now happy to be back full circle to where I studied Economics as an undergraduate nearly 30 years ago.

I’m passionate about our external mission to push the boundaries of science and make a difference to the lives of millions of patients.
