Cassie Gregson

I lead a world-class team who unleash technology to accelerate the discovery and development of innovative medicines for patients around the world.

Previously, I led technology teams responsible for supporting the global clinical development, patient safety and regulatory portfolio at AstraZeneca as well as the company’s R&D in Japan. 

I am a strong research professional with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) focused in Biomedical Sciences and a postgrad in Computer Science. I joined AstraZeneca in 2002 as a research scientist who embraced informatics and quickly grew my technical capability. 

Despite consistent themes of science and technology throughout my career, I am equally passionate about developing people and fostering diverse teams where human ingenuity can take on tough challenges. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring the United States with my family after moving from the United Kingdom in 2023.
