Our sustainability ambition

New medicines are our lifeblood at AstraZeneca—both small molecule and biological products that address the unanswered needs challenging patients, families, and caregivers. Our clinical trials are guided by global standards and by our concern for the lives of the patients who put their trust in us. We are committed to maintaining ethical sales and marketing practices, and ensuring the integrity of our medicines throughout the manufacturing and supply process.

We believe that providing information to the public about our company, our medicines and how we do business serves the best interests of patients, investors and other stakeholders. We view the way we conduct our business as a great responsibility for our company and all of our employees, and it is critically important to us that the public trusts our ability to carry out this responsibility ethically and in the best interest of patient health.

The AstraZeneca Foundation works to advance health equity and foster community wellbeing through strategic grant-giving and capacity building support for nonprofit organizations. Established in 1993 as a nonprofit charitable organization, the Foundation is a separate legal entity from AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals with distinct legal restrictions.
